Joyce Grey-Carter

I am a British professional Actress and Voiceover Artist who worked as a teacher in Secondary Schools and Special Needs Schools for 28 Years teaching Drama, acting, literacy and numeracy. I am also an emerging Screenwriter, Filmmaker, Director and Producer as well as as a Singer and Lyricist. Presently I am editing my first major film to have submitted to various film festivals in 2021. I have been casted in a number of short films, music videos, a new American Sci-fi Series called Foundation based on Isaac Azimov's novel, out in 2021 and to be streamed on Apple TV + as well as casted as a Supporting Artist in BBC1's Killing Eve and Top Boy Season 2 for Netflix. I have appeared in a couple of TV Commercials also, one of which was for TENA's campaign aired in March 2020, directed by Yorgus Lanthimous. The other was a JML Informercial called Eyebrow Magic aired in 2019. I also provide voiceover recordings for a number of Clients, recordings produced from my own home studio as well as that of the Client. My voice is rich, warm and versatile in tone and accents. I love being creative and I also love cooking and dancing as well as singing Jazz and Blues. I am also teaching myself to play the Double Bass. I play some piano and guitar as well.
