About:
Seeking to transfer military and engineering experience to a role as an actor. Areas of military expertise include hand-to-hand combat, firearms training, and tactics. I served as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Army and deployed to Iraq a number of times. I can pull from my military and combat experience for roles such as a soldier, hardened combat veteran, veteran detective, S.W.A.T., or private security. Earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. I lived the life of a white collar professional and played the part of a "nerd" or "geek". I can use my experiences as an engineer for technical roles such as engineer, technician, lab tech, and scientist. A life full of experiences (from janitorial work to using CAD software for engineering a solution - from growing up in the slums of New York City to living in different places around the world), a cultured actor that has worn many hats can make a role believable and relatable to the audience. A variety of careers have instilled a wide range of skills that can transfer to acting. Some skills include memorization, researching roles, taking direction and maintaining a level head under pressure. Skills obtained from practicing engineering and soldiering include critical thinking and problem solving skills that can be used to negotiate unforeseen obstacles and improvise solutions.
