About:
I was born in New Haven, CT, and as a child, I spent many years modeling for such jobs as Matchbox Cars. Hanes underwear. Playbill. R.L. Stine's Nightmare Room, and many more. Eventually, in 2006 moved to Los Angeles for an internship at the Ellen Degeneres Show, and from there, I fell in love with the city and chose to make it home. I have worked countless jobs, ranging from the TV/Film industry to retail clothing and bartending/managing bars. Having found peace in writing since I was a little kid using MSDos, in 2016, I decided to go back to school at UCLA and focus on screenwriting. Once I finished my education, I was lucky enough to be hired as a script reader and eventually analyst at the then newly started production company, American High, headed by The Hangover writer Jeremy Garelick. I spent a couple of years working with them, even after they moved from their LA offices into their studios in Syracuse, NY. Once Covid hit and production stopped, I earned my spot as a writer for a Dallas-based production company, 1307 Productions. 1307 had spent years focused on and succeeding in making award-winning documentaries but had now switched directions heading into scripted and hired me to pen their initial pilot. Once we wrapped that, I continued to help consult on a few other script projects for them. Thanks to my time at American High and 1307, I slowly built my credibility in script editing and doctoring and have freelanced in both ever since, helping many people find themselves landing jobs, becoming finalists in festivals, or simply finding growth in their craft. I have spent the last year and a half working as a script analyst for the Austin Film Festival and, most recently CoverageInk. I have a passion for scripting, if not for anything else, but for the fact that writing is freeing. No story is wrong because anything is up to your imagination, allowing us to always hold onto the child within us and dream big. A well thought out script with a fun story with a ton of upside. It could use a bit of a cleanup to make certain things a bit clearer and add depth to the characters and their stories through some logical flaws, but nothing that will require much work. Overall, TDSSG is well done, and we look forward to finding out what comes next!
