Jolie Laurens

Hello! My name is Jolie and I'm an aspiring actress. Currently, I am a college student studying at the University of Virginia. I have always been passionate about acting and storytelling, especially with regards to emotionally complex characters. My experiences include local and school theater productions, which consist of roles such as Zoe Murphy in Dear Evan Hansen. I am most drawn to film and TV roles due to the subtle acting style which requires more emotional nuance and depth. Though early in my career, I hope creative teams are willing to take a bet on me, as I am hardworking, grounded, and will bring curiosity and resilience to every role I play. Outside of acting, I'm a big fan of college football/the NFL and do video and offensive coaching for the football team at my school! I also stay very active and regularly run and work out. I’m more than happy to send over a self-tape audition tailored to a specific role to demonstrate my skills. I’m eager to learn from every opportunity that comes my way, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me!
