Joanna Prokopiuk

Hi! I'm Asia, a Polish singer, dancer and performer with a lifelong passion for the stage and screen. Technically, my name is Joanna, but in Poland we like to shorten our names, and that's mine. My adventure with television began very early - in kindergarten. We had a few chances to be interviewed about our dream jobs. Back then, I said I wanted to be a waitress, but throughout the interview, no one could take the microphone from my hands. And that's how I knew I loved being in the spotlight. I performed in theatre throughout primary and middle school, taking on several leading roles, including the lead in an original musical. My later-stage experience includes leading roles in musical productions, as well as performing as a dancer and a background actress in an opera. I've been dancing since the age of six, performing and competing with an artistic dance group at festivals and competitions, winning gold medals and Grand Prix awards in Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, and more. Over the years, I've trained in multiple dance styles and gained extensive experience performing on stage and for the camera. Singing and music have been a part of me for as long as I can remember. I trained at a private music school for several years, competed in regional vocal competitions and performed at venues including theatres and concert halls. More recently, I completed a year of musical theatre training at Broadway Musical School, finishing with a solo performance and a leading role. I continued developing my skills through vocal training and musical theatre workshops, including workshops organised by Teatr Proscenium in Warsaw, Poland. Beyond performing, I also have experience in front of the camera and as a presenter. I've hosted live events and an entertainment show on YouTube, which gave me experience with improvisation, audience interaction and working naturally on camera. I believe that the most beautiful stories can be told through emotions, music, and being yourself, and that's why I can't see myself anywhere else than in the spotlight, rehearsing roles until late at night.
