Jesse Camacho

Jesse Camacho (he/him, they/them) is a Mexican, bilingual (English/Spanish) actor based in Columbia, South Carolina. Born in California and raised across the South and Midwest, Jesse brings a grounded, magnetic presence shaped by culture, movement, and observation. With an early foundation in theater, Jesse approaches acting with a strong sense of timing, listening, and character awareness. He is drawn to intimate, character-driven roles that balance softness and humor, and is especially interested in playing romantic leads, soft love interests, loyal best friends, and understated comedic characters, as well as more emotionally complex or heightened roles. Outside of acting, Jesse is a photographer and the founder of an independent fashion magazine, where visual storytelling and culture are central to his creative practice. He also studied music, playing the clarinet for seven years. His multidisciplinary background informs a thoughtful, observant approach to acting rooted in presence, sensitivity, and human connection.
