About:
I’m Jean Nix, an Atlanta-based abstract painter and the artist behind Bent Shapes. My practice centers on “emotional geometry," an exploration of how color, form, and texture can express feeling without literal representation. Through curved, interlocking shapes and layered surfaces, I create compositions that balance geometric structure with organic movement. After years in a corporate career, I now pursue painting full time, working primarily with acrylic and mixed media.
