Jaylen Groves

Jaylen Earnest Groves, also known as J-PRIME, was born March 6, 2005 in Marietta, Georgia where he currently resides. His mother, Consuella Ray was born in Houston,Texas and father, Earnest Groves was born in Port Huron, Michigan. 
 J-PRIME's favorite rappers are XXXTENTACION, 2pac,Travis Scott,Drake and Logic. Out of all those rappers, his passion was birthed by his father, aka, E-PRIME. It is his father that would often take him to various music studios while he recorded his rap music. He also does acting sometimes. He was in a dominoes commercial at 7 years old. 
 Due to his father's inspiration, at 10 years old J-PRIME began practicing rap. He didn't actually record his first cut until he was 13 years old. He knew he wanted to be different...unique. He always wants to have a positive message in his music; one of which is for all to relate. His ultimate goal is to make it in the hall of fame. 
 J-PRIME is born again Christian and being raised to be a positive influencer, respectful to both men and women, especially, his very own parents. 
 J-PRIME wants to be known to be a leader and not a follower. Despite sometimes intense opposition, he is focused on his goals which means walking away from haters and not to listening to negativity. He wants every person, regardless of race, religion, sexuality, and ethnicity, to enjoy his music and he stands for positivity and loves to set an good example for his little brother Cameron.
