Jayleen Montes

Jayleen Montes (she/her) is a 18 year old dancer from Queens, New York who now lives in Los Angeles California. She just recently graduated from LaGuardia Arts High School and is now an alum the MOVE|NYC| Young Professionals Program. Jayleen has trained with Broadway Dance Centers Children’s & Teens Program as well as their Arts In Motion Company for the past nine years, and has recently started an apprenticeship for Dance Lab NY’s Next Gen Dancers. She has received additional training from Alonzo King LINES Ballet Advanced Summer Program, Debbie Allen Dance Academy Summer Intensive, and Joffrey Ballet School Children's Program in NYC. She has worked with artists such as Brian Friedman, Tessandra Chavez, Norbert De La Cruz III, Ray Mercer, Omar Román De Jesús, Alexander Anderson, Shonica Gooden, Waverly Fredericks, Roderick George, and director Spike Lee. Jayleen has performed with Summer For The City, Dance Against Cancer, Earl Mosley’s Diversity of Dance, Good Morning America, 9/11 Memorial, and Brooklyn Nets All Star Kids at the Barclays Center. She has been highlighted in Dance Spirit Magazine under BLOCH DanceWear and in LOVEPASTRY Dance Sneaker Magazine. Jayleen is represented by Clear Talent Group and will be attends American Musical Dramatic Academy (AMDA) College of Performing Arts. She has started to widen her artistic abilities and will be featured in a new Netflix Film “The Life List” coming out the summer of 2025, starring Sofia Carson.
