Jakiya Foster

I went to the University of Pittsburgh and recently earned my degree in the “Bachelor of Arts”. During my college years, I started taking acting classes from Diana Griffith, and Randy Kovitz. I also made some connections to work on actual production sets. I started off working on “The Chair” starring Sandra Oh and I did background work on that show. Then I worked on the Showtime series “American Rust” starring Jeff Daniels and Maura Tierney; I was a production assistant/background actor. Now I am currently working on an Amazon/Sony production that is making the remake of “A League Of Their Own” and I am a stand-in for the lead actress. All of this has been amazing and I have learned a lot from these hands-on experiences. I am currently working on acting in independent films. My personal artistic goal for my acting career is to become incredible at my craft.
