Jadie Reeves

Jadie Reeves (they/she) is a Chicago-based composer and vocalist who completed their Bachelor’s of Music in Composition and Vocal Performance at Western Michigan University in the spring of 2024. They are currently pursuing their M.M. in Composition at Roosevelt University, where they serve as the program’s graduate assistant. Through the careful creation, performance, and instruction of new music, they hope to substantively contribute to their communities through projects that highlight vulnerability and identity in the concert space. Jadie has significant experience with on-stage performance, particularly through musical theater and opera productions in their born-and-raised community of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Although her professional emphasis has shifted toward music (composition/vocal performance), she is eager to continue work in acting to explore further artistic modes.
