Isabella Newman

I am a 16 year old versatile performer with strong acting and many years of experience in the Musical Theatre Industry. I am passionate about storytelling through song and movement, with stage experience in junior musicals as well as contemporary pieces. I have travelled to America and Europe with Travel Gang and OzTheatrics representing Australia in the Atlanta Junior Theatre Festival and working with trained Westend and Broadway professionals. I have attended a variety of high level workshop in Disneyland and prestigious studios around the globe. Aside from performing, I am a consistently academic student who aspires to achieve to the best of my abilities. I am a passionate leader, and take responsibility for making a group of people feel like a team, a family. Over the course of the last 4 years I have spent in secondary education, I have received multiple awards such as The Principals Award, Peel Family Scholarship and most recently, ADF Long Tan Leadership and Teamwork Award. I have a strong belief that performing is not only for the eyes of the viewers but for the healing of an individuals soul. When I am on stage or behind a screen, I feel the most fulfilled as I am expressing myself through a character and providing the audience with a raw introspective to an alternate life.
