Inga Huld Hakonardottir

Inga Huld Hákonardóttir studied at the dance and performance school P.A.R.T.S, founded by Anna Theresa de Keersmaker in Brussels, graduating in 2014. Since then she has been active in the dance, performance and music field in Brussels and around Europe, performing in choreographic and theatrical works, contemporary musicals and art performance. Inga Huld is also a choreographer and performance maker and has successfully toured her works around Europe. Inga has performed in the works of authors such as Phia Menard, Salva Sanchis, Eleanor Bauer, James Mc Guin, Gabel Eibens and more. In the most recent work of Pha Menard, Trilogie of Contes Immoraux, Inga has a leading roll which she has had much praise from critics in renown newspapers such as: Le Monde and Financial Times. I was born and raised in Reykjavík Iceland. But moved to Brussels to persue dancing, performing and performance making. Since 2014 I have been performing and touring around Europe in works which usually very theatrical , physical and musical. I am at the end of a 2 year tour with director and artist Phia Menard who casted me in the lead roll of the evil priestess. A kind of operatic Cruella De Vil. This has without doubt been my biggest and most challenging roll so far. We premiered in Festival dAvignon and have been touring since summer 2021. I perform mostly on stage but have appeared in music videos such as Glósóli by Sigurros. I have also performance experience in contemporary musicals and art performance. So I sing and have background in classical music / violin. I am also a choreographer and performance maker and have toured her my works around Europe.
