Hope Campbell

Hope Campbell is a Chicago-based playwright and actor. She has acted with 5W!ts, the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, Underscore Theatre Co./The Chicago Musical Theatre Festival, Possibilities Theatre Co., Violet Surprise Theatre, and Sigman Brothers Productions. Her own plays include THE POET IN WHITE (2020 Olga & Paul Menn Playwriting Award; finalist, Beverly Arts Center’s 2021 New Playwrights’ Festival), NEW BEDFORD (Accidental Shakespeare Co., 2020), TAKE ME DANCING (2016 Sherwood Collins Playwriting Award), and THE INTERNS. She graduated from the University of Chicago in 2020 and is now the Communications Coordinator at A Red Orchid Theatre in Chicago. She often performs alongside her identical twin sister and lifelong collaborator, Tess Cameron.
