Holly Brown

I am currently a second grade teacher. Working in public education for over 20 years has been very rewarding. I have taught pre-K to 5th as a special education teacher. I love refinishing furniture/up-cycling and doing anything creative or artistic. I love being outdoors- snowshoeing in the winter and kayaking in the summer. Being active by playing sports or enjoying the outdoors is the best form of exercise! I absolutely love mysteries and anything with a twist! I started acting in school plays at the age of 10. Putting on plays with my friends and other kids in the neighborhood and performing for our families was something I was doing throughout my childhood. While my friends competed in Math Meets, I practiced for and competed in prose/poetry reading and performance (local) competitions when I was in middle school and won first place 2 years in a row. In history class, I encouraged my group to perform a talk show to introduce our topic of the "new automobile". I was the host of course! A passion for acting, performing, and engaging with others is something I've always had!
