Hari Sivaskandan

Growing up, I was always scared to say what I was thinking and put myself out there. But, when I would go to the movie theatre or watch plays, I would leave feeling connected to the characters and inspired with confidence to communicate with friends and family in the real world. People aren’t always comfortable sharing who they are in real life. I want to reach out to those people and urge them to be brave and share themselves in their real lives, which is why I chose to be an actor. Some of my work includes, NBC’s A Little Late with Lilly Singh and indie short film, Reverse Exorcism, directed by Aneesh Chaganty from Sony Pictures’ Searching and Missing. I was most recently nominated as a Best Actor in Web Series at the FirstGlance Film Festival for my work on the short film Work-Life Balance. Outside of acting, I am also an accomplished alto saxophonist and have studied Western Classical and Jazz at UCLA.
