Hannah Sims

Hannah is an Australian actor and graduate of 16th Street Actors Studio, working within independent film and theatre in Naarm/Melbourne. Hannah recently starred in the Greek/Australian independent feature film “Voices in Deep”, the second feature from ADG Nominated Greek-Australian director Jason Raftopolous (West of Sunshine, 2017), which World Premiered at Melbourne International Film Festival in 2023. Hannah can be seen in the lead role of ‘Bobby’, a humanitarian aid worker, who’s post traumatic anxiety manifests in complex, compulsive and primitive expression, alongside a cast of acclaimed international actors, such as Angeliki Papoulia (“Dog Tooth”,“The Lobster” Yorgos Lanthimos) and Michelle Valley (“Dogtooth" Yorgos Lanthimos). Distributed by international sales agent, Alief, “Voices in Deep” has screened In Competition at the 2023 Thessaloniki International Film Festival and the inaugural SXSW Sydney Film Festival. Hannah has been fortunate to have been approached for both her lead role in “Voices in Deep”, and for her upcoming role in the independent Australian feature film “Westgate”, the second feature from Australian director Adrian Ortega (Cerulean Blue, 2019), winner of the 2019 Barcelona International Film Festival’s El Rey Award for Excellence in Film Direction. “Westgate” is currently in pre-production and is set to shoot in Melbourne in July of 2024.
