About:
Hanako Stepper is a freshman at NYU Tisch Drama's New Studio on Broadway. She previously trained at the Manhattan School of Music precollege while attending Trinity School NYC and was a semi-finalist for the ESU National Shakespeare competition as well as a Roger Rees Award Nominee for her role as Ellie Blake in Freaky Friday the Musical. Recently, she has been part of staged readings including "The Machine" by Matthew Libby at Westport Country Playhouse and "A Very Musical High School," a parody of High School musical in which she played the lead. She has also been in several cabarets at venues including The Green Room 42 and short films during her time at Tisch.
