Halem Albright

Music bio(getting into acting more lately): Halem Albright is an Atlanta-born guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter known for his dynamic songwriting and live performances. He began playing guitar and writing music at 14, later founding the Athens-based band The Green Light Council, a Flagpole Award winner. In 2013, he launched The Halem Albright Band (H.A.B.), which has since earned accolades including the AthFest People’s Choice Award and recognition on The Sounds of Athens Gold Record project. The band has released multiple albums, including Through Human Eyes and Live at Vinyl, and signed with Spectra Music Group/for the 2024 release of Blue Moon Confessions(receiving many great reviews). Influenced by artists like the Grateful Dead and Phish, H.A.B. combines improvisational flair with strong songwriting and has built a loyal Southeastern following while sharing stages with acts such as Umphrey’s McGee, The Disco Biscuits, & Col. Bruce Hampton.
