Gaz is an Aussie actor who is 40 years old, married to an amazing wife and has an awesome super-duper son. Gaz loves acting and having a relationship with the camera. It's the only time his wife will allow him to have a relationship with someone other than her! Acting is not a job for Gaz, it's fun! And, if you have fun doing what you do for a living, you will never "have to" work a day! In 2009, Gaz enrolled into Bachelor of Film and Television at QUT in Brisbane, Australia. However, due to unforeseen circumstances he could not complete his degree. But, he kept dreaming of working in front of a camera; that dream never escaped his thoughts and it never needed to. In late 2019, Gaz decided to fulfil his dream of getting onto the big screen. So, he decided to buy a camera, set-up a studio at home and start his own YOUTUBE show named 'THE MAGICAL SPHERE'. Unfortunately, the pandemic hit hard and the show could not survive the hardship of such circumstances. So much effort and a lot more money was spent on a show that did not even get a chance to take off! This didn't stop Gaz from loving the camera and acting, he kept on dreaming and he refused to give -inn. What's the point anyway, If we can't be all that we can be. So, in 2022; Gaz decided to enrol into a 6 months full-time program at The Australian Film and Television Academy - TAFTA. And, it was the best decision he had ever made! The things Gaz learned at TAFTA were amazing! Gaz learned many things such as improvisation, voice and technical application, character for screen, emotions and U.S accent. And, he loved every moment of it, especially when he worked with his teachers and class mates to apply some practical learnings. Gaz learned from his course that no matter your age, gender, cultural background or beliefs; acting is for you as long as you love it the way it loves you. Acting will love you as much as you love it! Gaz loves to improvise a lot of things. Why? Because, most of the time life is about improvising and from many improvisations beautiful things happen. Gaz considers his work experiences to be assets that he can take to the big screen when playing a specific profession or characteristics based on a specific role. He loves method acting and he can't wait to work with method actors and actresses like Denzel Washington, Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Christian Bale, Joaquin Phoenix, Hilary Swank, Meryl Streep, Charlize Theron, Anne Hathaway and Linda Hamilton. Gaz has a low resonance voice (deep and clear) that can work with many characters and their characteristics. Also, Gaz worked many professions in past 20 years such as compliance, policing, business account management, fruit picking, factory-hand, warehouse labouring, tiling, fast food customer service, coaching soccer and driving instructor. Don't let his height of 168 cm and love handles fool you! He knows Tae Kwon Do, Boxing, Muay Thai and Japanese Judo. When it comes to martial arts, you can say that he is a jack of all trades but a master none. Gaz can also speak English and Arabic fluently; basic French and Japanese. He loves learning languages as it helps to stimulate his brain and multi-task in addition to memorising things while being creative.
