Gaia Sanchez Santos

My name is Gaia, like the goddess of Earth I’m named after, I embody a force of nature—rooted in my Dominican heritage, born in Helsinki, and raised in Geneva, Switzerland. I am shaped by my global upbringing, and driven by a passion that infuses every facet of my work. My background fuels my passion for the sociological aspects of fashion, photography, and fine arts, which I now explore as a student at Parsons School of Design, in New York City. My artistic motto, 'roses bloom in chaos,' reflects my belief that people, especially minorities, thrive in life's most turbulent moments. My work captures raw, unfiltered emotions, celebrating resilience, culture, and the beauty that arises from adversity.
