For those casting veterns yes I am a USMC vet. For the Dexter standin (double) position, I will die my hair auburn immediately to get this role. I would lie down in traffic. I promise to keep it professional but such a huge fan of the franchise I'd do whatever it took. I did improv acting in a high school. We were led by someone who's day job was in social work for the county but whose real passion lay in theatre most nights at the local playhouse. So really she had the best of both worlds when she convinced Bergen County to let her train a group of student to reach out to other students regarding topics that they typically didn't run to their guidance counselors, or parents to discuss. Well, I haven't done much acting since, but we were a very active group. I loved it. And I can act! At least once upon a time I remember having people sitting in auditoriums, juvenile detention centers,and cafeterias eating out of the palm of my hand. I'm just getting back to it. It took doing a lot of things I didn't love to finally call it quits on that and really hone down on creative aspirations. I never stopped writing. I'll put out a memoir one day. I did get into Columbia University's Nonfiction Writing MFA Program but unfortunately couldn't. Suffice it to say I have some chops. From writing to acting, acting to directing. Once I see one of my works of art on the big silver screen maybe I'll have had enough. Also into music I'm taking classes in a music technology MFA which is a terminal degree in composition that would allow me to score a film if I master what I need to. IQ is 133 on a good day. I just keep soaking up as much as I can and I've collected enough cinema equipment at this point to be a one man production company. But I love to act. That's number one.
