Flora Mayfield

I was born in Detroit, MI the eldest girl of 14 children. I'm told the legendary,Curtis Mayfield is my kindred. My family has a strong history of great singers both Gospel and R&B. I chose Gospel music at the age of 6. My aunt began training me to follow in her footsteps. My aunt Flora Mayfield would spellbound every stage she mounted...lol I don't know if that's my case but I will say the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree...lol I love gospel music with a passion and I sing from that place! I'm a mother of 3 brilliant children, two of which are pursuing their music careers seriously. I have taught children's choirs for 15 years, and also early childhood education. I am confident that this next chapter of my life will catapult me to the stars. I have a message for the world to heal and to soothe broken hearts.
