Erik Schmudde is relied upon for his creativity, business savvy, and expertise across diverse multi-million dollar franchise engagements. During his tenure he has served as a Creative Executive, Film & Television, reporting directly to Johnny Depp, principal of Infinitum Nihil, as well as Project Manager for Disney Studios, Global Franchise & Brand Management, where he directed cross-company franchise strategies by evaluating live-action film properties for revenue opportunities, overseeing global brand strategy and product development. Highly organized and efficient with proven success in collaborating with corporations and high-profile talent in building extensive projects from original conception, defining visual style/story structure, through marketing campaign. Erik excels in complex program environments prioritizing effectively with significant Franchise and Agency knowledge, having the professional acumen to meet tight deadlines by solving creative and business challenges without losing sight of details and initial goals. Major credits have included: Executive Producer of The Scarecrow of Canton, written by Jonathan Hensleigh (currently in development at Disney); Creative Executive for Infinitum Nihil on Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell no Tales, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer; and completed extensive character research on the Johnny Depp films Black Mass and Lone Ranger. Erik holds a bachelor’s degree in film and screen studies, emphasizing film history, filmmaking, and writing. He is also committed to community engagement and volunteers for the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
