Erik Andrews

Hello! I am Rich Thomsen, a visually impaired actor based in Chicago! I have been passionate about acting and movies my whole life. I took a break from acting due to my vision, but with the trend of inclusion in the industry I believe I now have a shot to follow my dreams. A little about myself, I am a very active person being a college wrestler and VP of the American Blind Skiing Foundation. I love to travel and learn new things about cultures and societies which is why I am majoring in Political Science, I love languages and I am fluent in Spanish. I also really enjoy history. Even though I am disabled, I still have central vision which means I have the ability to play a sighted character. I have never like my disability hold me back and I make sure to try new things all the time. (sometimes to my moms horror) I have taken horseback riding, archery, shooting, ATVs, Wave-runners, Skiing both water and snow and recently got into scuba diving. I am a quick study and can memorize lines quickly as well. Take a chance on me and you won't be disappointed.
