Jay Curtis

Jay Curtis(born Eric Johnson) was born in Los Angeles, California on February 28th, 1981, His family left Los Angeles at 2 years, where they settled in San Diego, California. He is the middle child of four siblings. Jay was an athlete from ages 8 to 30 years old, with high performance in basketball and football. His original aspiration was to pursue a career as a professional athlete. However, in 2005 he was inspired to pursue Christian Theology, and enrolled in Arizona Christian University. He graduated with a B.A. in Theology and Christian Ministries in 2009. In 2010 he went on to become an ordained as a Pastor in Canyon Lake, California. He moved to New York in 2012 where he continued in his pursuits as a Pastor. In 2019, Jay decided to venture into acting on the New York scene, where he attended acting classes at Actor's Workshop. Jay was featured in commercials, and did various background jobs for major productions, such as Blue Bloods, New Amsterdam, Law & Order, Organized Crimes, SVU (Special Victims Unit), FBI, Power, Apple Series, and Equalizer. He was also the lead actor in some students films. Jay also has IMDB credits for nationally popular show Justice for the People.
