Ellie Keeler

Hi my name is Ellie, and this is the first time I’ve ever written an acting bio so I apologize if it’s terrible, lol. I am almost 17 and am nearing the end of my sophomore year in high school. I do not have any social media and don’t plan on having any for a long time. I go to Cascade Christian school and have been since 1st grade. I have done theater through my school since 7th grade and will have done a total of 8 plays this spring. The ones I am most proud of are when I played Molly Aster in Peter and the Starcatcher, Maria in Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, and the Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. My director has told me that it is probably the most difficult role in all of musical theater, soooo that’s pretty awesome in my opinion (wink, wink). Some things you should know about me are that I am very passionate and creative, that’s part of why I love theater so much. Because there is truly no limit on how much energy and creativity you can bring to the stage. I am also a high soprano in my school’s advanced audition choir. Singing is next to theatre on my list of best things in the world! I am on the worship team at my church and love to share God’s love with people through my worship and acting. Being an actress has been my dream ever since I was little, and I know you’ve probably heard this a million times before, but truly, this is what I’ve always wanted to do. I love making people happy which is why I always give it my all when I’m acting, and then getting to hear how much they loved it at the end brings me so much joy. Not just because it makes me feel good to hear their applause but also because it means I made someone’s day better. Or made their favorite character come to life and brought them back to their childhood. My dream one day would be to go into cinema, even though I love theatre, I want to give it a shot. I’m hoping that one day I can make this my full time career but I guess we’ll see what happens. Also, I love costumes! That’s probably my second favorite part of any show/ film, the fun costumes. While I am not technically a dancer I am able to pick up choreography fairly quickly and do a good job of it. I have no idea if this is where I should end it or if I need more information but I’m just going to say ‘good try’ and wrap it up.
