About:

I’m Ella Shortland, a 15-year-old musical theatre performer currently training at RGS Worcester, where I study GCSE Drama and ABRSM Grade 5 Singing. I’ve played a wide range of roles including Napthali in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Mrs Smythe in Mary Poppins, a Super Yuppie in We Will Rock You, and ensemble in The Band (Take That musical). My play credits include Dolores Umbridge in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Mousegirl in The Ash Girl, and the Singing Telegram in Clue, as well as appearances in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. I’m passionate about musical theatre, love performing big, belty songs, and aspire to train at drama school and build a career on stage.
