About:
I have always been fascinated by the power of storytelling and the unique ways in which film can communicate emotions, ideas, and experiences. Films have the ability to transport audiences into unfamiliar worlds, challenge perspectives, and capture aspects of the human experience that are often difficult to express through words alone. As an actor, writer, and director, I am drawn to work that is character-driven, visually expressive, and deeply interested in the complexities of identity, memory, and human behaviour.
My creative practice is grounded in a desire to explore the internal lives of people and the forces that shape them. I am particularly interested in stories that examine uncertainty, transformation, belonging, isolation, and the tension between who we are and who we become. Whether working in drama, horror, speculative fiction, or experimental cinema, I use genre as a framework through which to investigate broader emotional, philosophical, and social questions. I believe that genre films can do more than entertain; they can reveal hidden truths, challenge assumptions, and create meaningful emotional connections with audiences.
As a filmmaker, I am especially interested in cinematic storytelling that prioritises atmosphere, symbolism, and visual language alongside narrative. I am fascinated by how images, sound, performance, and editing can work together to communicate ideas beyond dialogue. My influences range from classical and contemporary cinema to literature, theatre, visual art, and history, all of which inform my approach to storytelling and image-making.
I am also drawn to stories that embrace ambiguity and invite interpretation. Rather than providing simple answers, I aim to create work that encourages audiences to engage actively with the themes and ideas presented on screen. Many of my projects explore fragmented perspectives, subjective realities, and how memory and perception shape our understanding of ourselves and the world around us.
Across my work as an actor, writer, and director, I strive to create films that are emotionally resonant, intellectually engaging, and visually distinctive. I am continually interested in pushing my creative practice forward, experimenting with form and style while remaining committed to authentic storytelling and compelling human experiences. Ultimately, I hope to create films that stay with audiences long after the credits roll, works that inspire reflection, conversation, and a deeper understanding of ourselves and one another.
