I am a creative storyteller with a restless, inventive spirit, proficient in visual and spoken communication media. I have been fortunate to meet inspiring and engaging mentors who introduced me to theater and the arts early on. My professional journey began in Mexico City, where I immersed myself in theater studies, studio acting, and street performing. I soon took on roles as an educator and community organizer for local street youth. To support my diverse interests, I established and managed an art dealing business that continues to thrive today. After relocating to Chicago in 2005, I broadened my expertise to encompass television and film, photography, video, and radio production. As a multi-skilled creative, I delight in working with power tools—including CNC machines and laser cutters—to bring ideas to life. An ideal work scenario for me involves designing a stage, building it with repurposed materials, and navigating the complexities and joys of running a production.
