Destiny Maria Jones

At just 13 months old, I survived a tragic accident caused by my father that left me paralyzed from the waist down. Doctors said I wouldn’t be able to do many things even questioned if I’d make it this far but I’ve spent my life proving that nothing is impossible. Today, I’m an actor, advocate, and community ambassador dedicated to inspiring others through my work and story. I’ve appeared in productions with Tyler Perry, Steve Harvey, and Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, as well as the upcoming film Rollin’ Loud starring Matt Rife and Owen Wilson, and Beauty in Black on Netflix. I recently made my BET debut on The Ms. Pat Settles It (Season 2, Episode 17), where I showcased my creativity and storytelling ability through a self-written scene based on a true story. Beyond acting, I’ve proudly served as a Children’s Hospital Ambassador for over 10 years, helping bring joy and hope to young patients. My journey reminds me every day that my disability isn’t a limitation it’s a gift that allows me to connect, inspire, and shine a light for others. When I’m not on set, I love traveling, spending time with my family and dog, and spreading positivity wherever I go. My mission is simple: to be living proof that strength, faith, and love can turn any challenge into a purpose.
