Derick Gramling is much more than a handsome face and an incredible physique. Derick is a multi-faceted businessman and an asset to anything he is apart of. He overcame many challenges as a youth and is the founder of TeamLIFT Fitness & Mentorship L.L.C. (Life inspired Fitness Training). Derick operates exclusive, popular personal training programs along with his mentorship programs for incarcerated youth. He has been selected as the Honorary Belt holder from Celebrity boxing due to all of his service in the communities helping the youth.He is a visionary who is committed to reshaping the world and his community using health and fitness. His success has not come easy and his life is a testimony that anything is possible. Derick Gramling grew up surrounded by destructive influences that impacted him, but he found a solid foundation and unconditional love from his Grandfather. Through it all, his Grandfather kept his vision for his grandson clear- “You are better than the hand you were dealt.” Always steadfast in his exercise regimen and healthy eating habits, Derick honored his talents in physique sculpting, writing and mentoring. He shunned the streets and found refuge in Fitness and health. He has evolved into a fierce physique competitor, dedicated bodybuilder, and gifted motivation speaker who uses his talents to promote living a lifestyle based on exercise, healthy diets and enjoying your passions. He leads efforts to clean-up the inner-city neighborhoods, develops community events that foster goodwill and comradery, in addition to creating business opportunities that bring legitimate revenue into the community. Each year, TeamLIFT Fitness sponsors a turkey giveaway and Christmas toy drive. Derick volunteers at local schools and encourages youth to have a healthy mind and body. He also host a fundraisers after the devastating hurricanes in Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico. The event was attended by notables, such as NYS Senator Pam Helming and other local dignitaries. Bodybuilder, Fitness Professional and Physique Model Since 2014, Derick Gramling has competed professionally as a natural bodybuilder. He won his pro card in his first competition. This award was won out of 470 gyms and 19 countries. He is the personal coach and trainer of Olympic boxer Cierra Taylor. He trained and coached her to the Olympic trials for boxing. Derick also trained Alex Whithair better known as Realgame athletics who has now excelled training professional athletes all over the world such as Antonio Brown and other professionals. Additionally, Derick trains physically and mentally challenged members with chronic diseases (MS, Parkinson’s disease), children in state run facilities, such as Hillside, Monroe County Detention Center and senior citizens. Motivational Speaker, Poet, Role Model True to his promise to save other youth from the same disappointments he suffered, Derick runs a mentoring program, that assist young men with making a lifelong commitment to lead a positive, law abiding life. He received awards for the success of his program. Derick continues his mission by delivering motivational speeches to students, at-risk juveniles, social, civic and religious groups.
