About:
Deontay Wilson is a graduate of the prestigious performing arts program the American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T) in San Francisco. He is a classically trained actor and an award-winning playwright/filmmaker. Deontay has collaborated with some of the nation’s most famous regional theaters as a writer, actor and producer – including Berkeley Repertory Theater, the Magic Theater, A.C.T, the Goodman and the Public Theater. As a filmmaker, he has worked in collaboration with media outlets like Comedy Central and the Onion. For his latest film, Paradise Lost, he wrote, photographed, directed and edited the feature-length film which was awarded Best Documentary at the Crown Point International Film Festival.
