Day Bennett

With a passion for performing that began in childhood, Day Bennett has built a diverse career in entertainment, from acting and singing to teaching and production. Her journey started with standout roles in productions like The Lion King, Dreamgirls, and a unique portrayal of a female Scrooge in high school. A member and soloist in the Crenshaw Elite Gospel Choir, they toured internationally, sharing the joy of Gospel music in Korea, Africa, France, and Spain. Continuing to shine in their college years, Day performed in student-run productions and gained hands-on experience behind the scenes. Highlights of their singing career include performing with Enrique Iglesias at the 2011 music awards, starring in commercials for The Voice and America's Got Talent, and gracing celebrity weddings with their powerful voice. In 2015, they joined the BET Youth Program, learning the ins and outs of the entertainment industry and further fueling their passion for the field. This inspiration led them to pursue a degree in Communications, blending their creative talents with strategic expertise. Now based in Los Angeles, Day thrives in the entertainment capital, incorporating their cheerleaders into productions like High School Musical and managing social media pages for cheer teams. Aspiring to take their talents to the big screen, they are pursuing acting opportunities while staying connected to their love of performance and production.
