David Goyette

Hello! My name is David Goyette and I am 50 years old. I have done too many plays to list in the Greater Springfield (MA) area. I joined Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, MA right out of high school. I was with the company for four years. In 1994 I was accepted to Circle in the Square theatre conservatory in NYC. I was there for two years. After that I did the whole bartender/struggling actor thing with little success. I met a wonderful woman who would become my wife. Eventually she got pregnant and downsized from her job. She gave birth to my beautiful daughter Stella and we couldn’t afford to stay in New York so we moved back to my hometown where I got a “real” job and did as much community theater as possible. I haven’t been on stage in 15 years. I gained a lot of weight and my teeth are a mess from alcoholism. I’ve been sober for four years and I’m still fat with bad teeth. Trying to rectify both situations but the dental work I need is very expensive. I’ve decided it was time for me to get back to acting in some capacity. It was, is and always will be my passion. For anyone who actually took the time to read this, I sincerely appreciate it. I could be a very good character actor if only given the chance. Thank You very much.
