Darius Trevon

Darius Trevon is an actor originally from California. From a very young age, Darius always knew he wanted to entertain people. He started out as a singer in choirs for most of his youth, and while he loves to sing, he still felt like something was missing. He felt as if singing was not all he was meant to be doing. On a wild impulse, he decided to transition into theater classes his junior year of high school. He had only been acting for one year when it was time to start looking into colleges for theater. He did not have the most experience, nor did he come from a formal performing arts school like many students applying for top theater programs did, but he believed in himself and his gifts and that led him to be accepted into his dream school, NYU. He moved across the country to New York City at age 17 to train. He studied the acting technique of Practical Aesthetics at the Atlantic Acting School and the Grotowski Technique at the NYU Experimental Theatre Wing. He also studied with the Black Arts Institute, a collaboration between the Stella Adler Studio of Acting and The Billie Holiday Theatre, emphasizing the works of Black artists and creatives. He completed his studies and received his BFA degree in Theatre from NYU. With his deep passion for the arts and entertaining others, he is now more eager than ever for opportunities to share his gifts with the world.
