Cynthia Moore Howard played "Ethel" in Ree's Destiny- Short Film, Congratulations!! It will be on the BIG Screen at the BlackStar Film Festival Friday,August 1, 2025 8:30pm EST Wilma Theater, Philadelphia, PA. Previously, world premiered in June 2025 at the Black American Film Festival in Miami FL. Cynthia played the "Widow" in Daughter of God- Short Musical Film. Congratulations! Congratulations! Mythic Pictures for being a Silver Winner for this film at the Knoxville International Christian Film Festival 2025. She also played "Beatrice," Supporting role, in a Short Film, Featured Background "Apothecary Patron" in a Feature Film both in post-production. Featured background in SuperBowl 2025 commercial. Featured background Casino Gambler, in The Family Business New Orleans, also featured in Copeland Tower Living commercial. She is a native of New Orleans, LA and a graduate of Southern University at New Orleans and Delgado College with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. She has several hours of virtual acting classes and has gained some experience as a Stand -In for a popular TV show. . Cynthia has done Background acting in a National Brand Commercial, Insurance , and in several Television and Film productions. She's performed live in NOBA Dance/NORD Nutcracker Suite, Spring Dance concert, Ronald K Brown special rendition of "On Earth Together," briefly appeared in NORD "Something For Everyone" commercial and competed in GNO Senior Olympics. She modeled in Exxpose Your Beauty Runway Fashion Show, featured in NOBA Dance 2017/18 and Exxpose Magazine 8th edition, magazines. As a teenager Cynthia was enlisted in the Louisiana Army National Guard. She worked 20 years for the State of Louisiana mainly in Social Service Case Management. She's formerly a NEMT Small Business owner, Taxi /Rideshare ,Realtor and Property Manager. Cynthia is youthful, very interested in the entertainment industry and expanding into Featured Principal acting roles. She recently discovered her passion for comedy monologue writing and acting capabilities. Cynthia made quite an impression with performing poetry "Heavens Grocery Store." At age 60 she taught herself piano chord progressions and improvising, computer drawing and painting. She also participated in NORDC Cultural Arts program and showcase, Senior Adult fitness, Line and Urban Swing dance classes. She also knows how to sew and love to decorate. Cynthia really enjoys acting, art, dancing, piano playing, bike riding, roller skating, batting, pitch & catch, and vacationing. She's versatile, knowledgeable and enjoys many other sports, recreation and live entertainment. Cynthia is very eager to learn, demonstrate, perform and achieve.
