Curtis Jones

Curtis L. Jones (actor/voice-over artist) is currently based in Atlanta, Georgia. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Mr. Jones received a Masters degree in Guidance & Counseling from Bowling Green State University. His love for the arts began as a child when he sang in various choirs, read stories to his classmates, played the piano, and performed in several local community theatre productions. Mr. Jones started his professional career in higher education as a college administrator and student advisor. He continued to work in higher education and student affairs for many years prior to pursuing his acting career. However, he continues to teach on a part-time basis. Mr. Jones’s edutainment credits include announcer (Voice of God) for S.A.V.E. (Students Against Violence Everywhere) awards program. He served as the host for Radio One of Columbus’-Joy 106.3 Bridal Show; and co-hosted a fashion show for Columbus, Ohio area fashion designer, Vosi Douglas. Additional voice-over credits include: The Adventures of Cairo (An Animated Children’s Podcast). Georgia Power, C. Spire, Publix, Lowes, Fed Ex, Proctor and Gamble, IBM, and Dayton International Airport. He worked as a radio, news and traffic reporter for Metro Westwood One; performed an on-camera television commercial for ESPN/ABC, and has appeared in many corporate industrials and radio/television commercials. He served as the 2010-2011 AUDELCO Awards Announcer at the Aaron Davis Hall in Harlem, New York. Mr. Jones television credits include: Dynasty (Netflix); and Swagger (CBS-Apple TV). Most recently he appeared in the Netflix television series, Sweet Magnolias; CW’s Gotham Knights, and The National Geographic’s Anthology series, Genius, “Aretha” and Genius, “MLK Jr”. His passions are educating, motivating and enlightening youth.
