Craig Betz

Craig started out his love for entertainment at an early age and became involved in writing and recording rap records back in the 90’s golden era of Hip-Hop. Thanks to some classic 12-inch recordings made with his younger bro Flex under the rap duo “Cipha”, his music was featured in several major old school Hip-Hop Magazines, as well as in the Vibe Magazine. These classic recordings gained the group fans across the globe and original pressings of their independent released single “Rock Rock On” is considered an underground classic and is still sought after by Hip-Hop collectors. In 2008, he along with his music production team, Flex&Hated, produced the song “Lights Out” on the all-girl Makin’ The Band Group, Danity Kane’s Welcome to the Dollhouse album released on Atlanta/Badboy records, earning him a RIAA Certified Gold Record. He continues to operate a music production studio in downtown Wilmington, Delaware and stays active in producing records for up and coming local acts as well as major artist. In 2017, Craig’s love for performing arts branched out into acting, which prompted him complete several adult acting training classes as well as advance courses on improvisational acting skills at the esteemed Delaware Theater Company in Wilmington Delaware. While honing his acting skills, he gained on-set experience by appearing as background on the 3rd installment of the Pitch Perfect film series, as well as, the action packed thriller, Glass by director, M Night Shyamalan. In 2020, he was offered an opportunity to work with writer/producer Dwayne Parker, which lead to him staring in the soon the be released independent action drama film Vex, in which he stars as the film’s main antagonist/baddie, “Vader”. 2021, Post-quarantine, whether it be jumping in out of an exploding skyscraper building, tossing a vibranium sphere in the battlefields of Wakanda, or wielding a Lightsaber in a galaxy far far away, expect to see Craig standing next to some of your favorites in the business!
