As a lifelong Wilmington/Southport local, I’ve enjoyed being part of the local Arts community in many forms over the span of 30 years. Experiencing the magic of being a background extra on set of “To Gillian on her 37th Birthday” was so impactful that I feel fortunate being able to share that sense of wonder with my own daughter as a peek into the film industry that is created within our community yet becomes part of a broader whole.
