Chris Ogren

Welcome to my About blurb. I grew up doing school theatre in Southern California before moving to NYC for college. At NYU, I earned a BFA in Drama studying at both the Playwrights Horizons Theater School and Classical Studio. There I received training in acting, design, playwriting, directing, and more, including specialized training in Shakespearean acting. I also graduated with a minor in American Sign Language. In my first few years post-grad, I worked locally, regionally, and internationally, without renowned entities like The Public, the National Theatre of the Deaf, and New York Deaf Theatre. In 2026 I proudly closed Trash Off-Broadway at PAC NYC, originating the role of Jukebox. Both my performance and Trash itself were met with critical acclaim from entities such as The New York Times, New York Theater Guide, and TheaterMania. Currently, I'm filming supporting and bit roles in upcoming films and webseries, fleshing out the screen half of my resume.
