Chris Johnson

Chris Johnson started his career over 12 years ago after writing a poem for his (then) girlfriend Demetria Johnson, now wife. After reading his poetry she encouraged him to start performing spoken word. At first, he was reluctant, but with just the right push, he stepped out on faith and established himself as a spoken word artist. After 3 years of performing, and doing background acting at the same time, he was given his first speaking role. He auditioned for the stage play “Resurrection… It’s time for me to live!” and got the part. On opening night, life as he knew it would change. Once stepping onto stage, the God of his understanding spoke into him, telling him that he had found his niche in life. He then focused all his efforts into acting and attending training through Industry Direct Talent and Model Agency. This led him to the International Model and Talent Agency in New York where he got his first taste at the world of entertainment. Ever since, he has not stopped pursuing a career in acting being in numerous reality crime series for TV, “Fatal Attraction” and "ATL Homicide” and several independent shorts and features. He has trained under several established actors such as William Mark McCullough and now, his acting coach Carl Kennedy. In 2019, he stepped up his game and went back to school for film production at Trident Technical College in North Charleston, South Carolina. This institution has catered to such productions as: The Righteous Gemstones and Sun Coast with not only providing locations and young dreamers from their film department, but film equipment as well. He has also began writing scripts for a hobby, which has led to him writing for several different independent artists, as well as, his own full-length feature, which is now in the last stages of completions. With his lovely wife Demetria Johnson, who is an actress herself, they have surpassed all of their expectations and have opened BreLin Entertainment L.L.C. We offer cinematography, directing, script writing just to name a few. If there is a dream in your heart, you need to do everything in your power to see it into fruition. It is your responsibility and yours alone to see this to the end. Chris Johnson is also a military veteran of the United States Air Force. Some of the films he has appeared in are: Waiting on the Brooklyn Bridge, Gerald’s Hands, Milila and Son of a Preacher Man and Byron and The Roast, and This Side of Broken just to name a few.
