Cassaundra J Webb

Autobiography Evangelist Missionary Cassaundra M. Jones Webb (Lady Cassaundra J. Webb) I was born in a little town called Nacogdoches, TX on November 25, 1968 (actually the oldest town in Texas and the home of the Stephen F. Austin State University). I am a mother of five children, grandmother of four precious little girls; and was married for 18 years to one man, Elder Jack Webb. I was raised in the community of Pine Flat, Texas and my church home was Pine Flat C.M.E. While a member, I served as the Sunday School Teacher, member of the choir, and also taught Mission class. I was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost in July of 1993 at Wood’s Memorial COGIC under the pastor, Supt.Chester Robinson. One Sunday night, after service I randomly walked up to Supt. Chester Robinson and he spoke these words to me, “You look like you ought to be saved”. Those words anchored themselves deep in my spirit. I used what he said to make up my mind that I needed JESUS. During a revival on a Wednesday night, the Lord did a new thing in and for me. I had been AT church all my life, but now I’ve been in church the actual “Body of Christ”) for over 25 years. During the years following my Spiritual Birth, I have served as a youth choir director, Sunshine and Purity Band leader, Y.P.W.W. teacher, and whatever I have found for my hands to do. I come from a long line of gospel music singers, musicians, and preachers (Moore, Tolbert, Henderson, Horn, and Hart Families). There is someone in my family that can sing, play instruments, or something. Gospel music was and is my outlet in life! If I could just get a musical praise out, everything would be alright. Some of my favorite artist are Shirley Caesar, Dottie People, Beverly Crawford, Vicki Winans, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Karen Clark-Sheard, Twinkie Clark-Terrell, Carolyn Traylor, Kathy Taylor, Rev. Timothy Wright, Rev. James Cleveland, Rev. James Moore, and so many more. I have served under the direction of Roy L. Benton for 8 years (Nacogdoches IYC) and was a part of their album in the mid 1980‘s. Also, in November of 1993, I had the pleasure of singing in Memphis, Tennessee at the Church of God in Christ International Convocation representing Bishop C. L. Bryant of Texas Southeast Third Jurisdiction, and the late Bishop L. H. Ford, the International Church of God In Christ Bishop, and the late Mother Mattie Moss Clark. I have sung with some great people over the years such as Mother Wilma Jean Bivens (National Recording Artist/GMWA) at the Island of Hope Church of God In Christ. Mother Wilma Bivens has taken me under her wing as a daughter and is grooming my gift for the music ministry God has placed in me. I have participated in many different workshops throughout Texas and as a member of GMWA Houston Chapter and the National GMWA. My most recent accomplishment was won on February 8, 2013 when I was presented with the “Most Inspirational Artist” award at The 15th Annual Texas Gospel Music Excellence Awards here in Houston, Texas. In February 2014 I won another award at Texas Gospel Excellence Awards. I have shared the stage with some great artist such as Earnest Pugh, Kenneth Williams, James Hall, VaShawn Mitchell, Rodney Bryant, Wonda N. Butler, Pastor Teresa Jordan, LeAndria Johnson, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Karen Clark-Sheard, Bobby Jones, Carolyn Traylor, and the great Shirley Caesar. I thank God for all of the great people who have impacted my life and I will never forget the love and kindness you have shown to me and my family over the years. The doors that God has opened in the 2015 - 2020. Also on this journey I have been a part of some Stellar Award Events, Prayze Factor Awards, Bobby Jones Gospel Stage, I Witness TV/IPrayz, Rhythm of Gospel Music Awards and so much more. And the dream lives on, I have my own show now “Kickin’ it Live w/Lady Cassaundra on XperiencTV, which started on the CPN Network & Youtube, and my radio station LCJW Radio powered by UGN Radio network. There is also a cooking show about to air this year 2020 on Youtube and Xperienc TV on Demand my own network channel and so much more to come. The Clarion Call This project was spoken into my life when I was young in 2000, while visiting family in San Diego, California, a woman whispered in my ear and said that God would use me in a great and mighty way in years to come. I am praying that this will be a blessing not only to me but to the body of Christ. I have worked with some great producers Brian Dunlap of Dlap Productions and Eric Carrington, Recording Artist and producer at Global Entertainment Productions. My latest song was produced by Gerald Hatcher at the 2018 Stellar Awards, It took 13 years to start this project and God is still doing great things in my life. I currently have a new single out and working on more new music. A Little Testimony: In 1989, the doctor’s had given me up to die, due to a digestive tract disorder. How many know that prayer changes things? The doctors said my condition was common in old people and infants and they didn’t know much about it at the time. I went into major surgery to correct the problem. I know God is real, because the doctors that worked on me said I was just a walking dead person. I didn’t make the Lord any promises that I could remember, because I was not sure if I could keep them. All I knew was that God was not through with me yet as I was only 20 years old and I had a 5 month old daughter to take care of. She is now 31 years old and has 2 daughters of her own. Look at GOD!!!! After 30 years, the problems are still there, but I know that God has to keep us praying about something. I have since undergone 3 more surgeries one in 2011 and 2 other procedures in 2012. I’ve learned that God’s Grace enables me to live with and in spite of my thorn as Paul said in II Corinthians 12:9. I am looking forward to my Heavenly Blessings. There are so many things that God has brought me through over the years, but as the song says “It could be worse”. Through it all, God has kept me. God can open doors that no man can shut. The dreams, and even prophecies, are now coming to pass. I truly desire that someone is blessed and set free from the ministry God has birthed in me. GOD will get the glory out of it all!
