Carmen Bruner

Carmen Bruner, A native of Bristow Oklahoma, had a natural affinity for music at a very young age. By the time Carmen was four (4), she was taught by my mother to sing gospel music in a gospel quartet with her three(3) brothers. It was at the age of 14, when Carmen was introduced to jazz and she was drawn into exploring Jazz music. Carmen continued to studying music and working. In these efforts Carmen became a lead singer in a number of productions in local and regional theater productions. With this experience Carmen also started co-writing lyrics and arrangements. Writing brought out gifts she never knew existed. She had taken the initiative to expand her knowledge in vocal music and music theory at the university level. As Carmen performed on various public stages and venues along the way. She performed on stage at the 2018 Tulsa State Fair. She recently performed and recorded with bassist, Michael Fields Jr. She also was featured in a Christmas showcase with saxophonist, R.L.Walker. Carmen has a newly released self entitled EP. Her latest single "Fragile" will be promoted in March. Now she has added acting into her journey, appearing in several background scenes in movies.
