Carina Pamanes
About:
Carina Pámanes is a Mexican performer and
writer located in downtown Toronto. Her first
works were focused on classic theatre such as
Blood Wedding and Midsummer Night’s Dream.
She has experience in improvisation, stage
combat, voice acting, playwriting and
choreography. She trained in Mexico with the
director, producer, actor and playwright Manya
Loria. Her early works include productions of A
Midsummer Night's Dream (Hermia), A Christmas
Carol (Tiny Tim/Belle), #PorMorbo, an original
play written and produced by David Diaz. She has
also acted in the 48 hour film project in Mexico
2018 (No Esperaba Verte AquÃ) and 48 hour film
project in Canada 2022 (Busker Driver). Her most
recent credits are an original collective show,
Instinctus, directed by Ara Glenn-Johanson and
the play Almost, Maine directed by Jeff Miller.
