Cameron Smith

Cameron Carleigh Smith is a passionate and powerful dancer/performer from Freehold, New Jersey. Born in New Brunswick, NJ and raised just minutes from the Jersey Shore, Cameron grew up as a competitive dancer at Freehold Academy of Performing Arts, where she began training at age two and started competing by seven. No matter the challenges, her love for dance never wavered. Cameron’s dance journey has been marked by determination, growth, and standout achievements. Her performances are known for delivering the emotional depth and refined technique that today's dance world craves. In 2025, Cameron trains with Menina Fortunato through The Business of Dance mentorship program and was a featured guest on the Business of Dance Podcast many times. She also appeared in the "Journey" competition ad campaign (2023) and continues to grow her influence in the commercial and concert dance spaces. She credits Menina Fortunato for opening doors in the professional dance world and helping her step into her career with confidence. A lover of animals and the ocean, Cameron finds peace at the beach and grows up in a household filled with four boxers. She draws inspiration from her supportive family—her sister’s wisdom, her brother’s athletic drive, and her parents’ constant encouragement. With a future filled with ambition, desire and artistry, she’s on a mission to deliver what the dance world needs—realness, precision, power, and heart.
