Bushra Hassan

I have worked on several short films, including a short horror film directed by Sawda Hassan, in which I played the lead role of Sarah, and an indie short directed by the same director, where I played Jane, the best friend of the main character. I have performed in multiple school productions, including playing Lady Macbeth and the Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz. I have also spent time at the Lyceum Theatre, observing backstage rehearsals, and completed two acting work-experience placements at the Albany Theatre, where I performed in productions such as Little Red Riding Hood as the wolf. In addition, I’ve been accepted into several acting classes, auditioned for a variety of productions, and even directed my own short film. I currently take drama classes where I’m achieving top grades. I am also a singer, dancer, and visual artist. I can draw, cry on cue, and excel in emotional scenes.
