Bill Babnick
About:
My entertainment career started a relatively young age. I began playing with different bands in bars at the age of 15.
By the time I was 17 I had already sold my first song and making trips out to Nashville and Branson.
While working in the music industry, writing for different Nashville recording artist and collaborating with other writers, I still continued college to pursue my dream of playing pro football.
I played ball for UNM and then transferred to UTEP receiving multiple injuries that sidelined me multiple seasons and after two seasons with an expansion team in El Paso, a fractured vertebrae in my neck was the deciding factor that football was not in my future.
Luckily, my music career had been very lucrative which enabled me to open different businesses and pursue an acting career while raising a family.
While taking on minor film roles and casts in a few commercials I continued to write, and a few years later while pitching another song to Elizabeth Travis, her thoughts were that I should record it and release the song under her management. The song "Playing in the Mud" received multiple commercial use contracts and I was invited out to appear on A&E's hit show Duck Dynasty. The performance of the song on TV really started to kick off my career as a music artist but it didn't last long. Elizabeth and Randy split up, I was no longer touring with him and I was losing my hearing.
Because of my hearing loss I decided to hang up my hat and turn my focus onto other projects.
So here I am... Ready to work and I promise not to disappoint.
