Barry Alan Williams

I'm a dedicated, easy to work with professional who is also very good at following direction. I've been in a broadcast commercial during the Super Bowl and I've also had center-magazine, full-page ads across from Oprah's in Bloomberg, Business Week and Forbes (Disney) in the summer of 2011. I still enjoy my work and for years now, I've enjoyed the professionals I've worked with...on both sides of the camera. Although it's pretty tough to beat being in the 49er locker room as Harbaugh's assistant coach for a Mastercard commercial, I thought it was pretty cool, on my last shoot, when the wardrobe stylist told me that she recognized me from some of my work. But during my last session of that day, when the lead photographer told me how happy he was to have me on-board because he'd been wanting to work with me for a long time, I think I blushed (because my ears got hot! :). I was very honored, and very embarrassed. Because I was a photographer before the '89 earthquake killed my studio in downtown Santa Cruz, his expression really meant a lot to me. So there ya have it - the first chapter of my next book.
