Austin Howe
About:
Austin was born on May 11, 1998, in Stamford, Connecticut, and has lived in the Fairfield County area for the past 23 years. Austin was recruited to play football in the winter of 2016 for The Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. The program was Division III in the NCAA which gave Austin the flexibility to play a collegiate sport, all the while focusing on his passion and pursuing a major in drama. While at school Austin performed in a myriad of main stage performances and MFA Playwriting candidates repertoire theater performances. Austin was also able to learn a full curriculum from on stage acting and Shakespeare training, to technical crew work including, Lighting and Stage design, as well as, Costumes.
Austin was prepared to graduate at school in the Spring of 2020, however the ensuing Covid-19 pandemic halted the ceremonies and school was postponed in March, and subsequently turned into Zoom classes for the rest of the year. Since being back in The surrounding areas of Connecticut, Austin turned to finding work in the New York City and Boston areas. These have opened wide doors for Austin's career, including his first lead role in a feature film "The Liberator" being shot in the Massachusetts area, and extensive background work, to be announced shortly, in Manhattan, Long Island, and Stamford.
Austin is an avid playwright and has written "A Shut In's Shutdown", "The Imaginary COVALID-19", "For Sale" and "Dad's Shoes". Austin has written meant for TV pilots and always loves to write a quick poem or two just for fun. Austin's writing has led to him writing for a few publications, one from his own Alma-mater, and an internet magazine called "Beyond Archetype".
Austin certainly has an exciting career ahead of him and with the prowess he possesses both on the written page and on the screen he is surely a name to watch for the future.
